Should I put it in fresh part or freezer part? Cook with vegetable, one person, so 3-5 shrimp each time.

Raw shrimp last in the fridge for one to two days but can last for months if frozen. Cooked shrimp last three to four days. To reheat cooked shrimp, use a lower temperature and check frequently to avoid overcooking. When storing raw shrimp in the fridge, keep it on the bottom shelf.

Okay, that is far less than weekly grocery shopping. I will put it in freezer.

You might want to portion them before freezing. So you take out just enough shrimp for one meal.

They are on boats for weeks. But best to eat right away.

Bet they don't spend "weeks on boats" without being frozen the vast majority of the time!

This. If I buy a bigger quantity of perishables like this than I plan to use I re-package them into smaller quantities before freezing.
