It wasn't Justin Wilson but someone like him. He was definitely an older man and wore suspenders and had a belly on him. Anyone remember someone like that or am I just confusing him with Justin.?

The OP said it's not Justin Wilson.

Graham Kerr, The Galloping Gourmet, sometimes wore them. Maybe Bruce Aidells? Not sure if he was a suspenders man.

Right! Graham Kerr wore suspenders, but all that I'm visualizing is Julia Child wearing them or overalls. It's a bad image to have in your head...

James Beard was portly, but he didn't wear overalls. However, he often wore a full apron which might resemble overalls. He would also often wear a bow-tie underneath.

IIRC, Justin Wilson didn't wear coveralls, he wore suspenders and a shirt. Was he on NPR cooking shows? Paul Prudhomme? Can't remember if he wore coveralls when he was too fat to stand.

Just happened to think, are you recalling Jeff Smith? He didn't wear coveralls, but he always wore an apron that might remind you of coveralls, and he was vintage 80's or so. I really liked his style, have a couple of his cookbooks

The title says "overalls" but the post says "suspenders". Wouldn't it be one or the other?
