I got them once as a gift several years ago. I thought they were good, but seemed like the strawberries had been soaked in some type of sugar syrup before coating. They were unusually sweet.

I considered buying some to give as a gift but read the recent reviews, most of which were not positive.

My daughter has sent them to me several times. A delightful surprise but they have to be eaten within a day or two. I've never seen such HUGE strawberries. They make a nice gift from time to time but she shops around for lots of different gift ideas like living plants for my garden, flowers, fruit, nuts, etc. There are so many choices these days.

Get them from Edible Arrangements instead. Much fresher and they use a good quality chocolate,

We also received a package -- it was a corporate gift this past Christmas -- and we thought they were great. If I was buying for someone local though I probably stick with a nearby chocolatier.

I would like to hear opinions too. I loved Proflowers when I first ordered from them years ago. One year I ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday and they never opened. What a waste of money. I sent them an email to complain but never heard from them. I won't ever use them for flowers, and would hesitate to buy from Shari's. On the other hand berries don't need to open, so maybe they would be okay.

If it looks like candy, but has fruit inside....ick! Not a fan of dipped strawberries, or candied apples.....

I'm one of the weirdos who doesn't like dipped fruit. The fruit is always sour compared to the chocolate.

Vosges Luxury Gourmet Chocolate Exotic Truffle Collections, Rose Truffles, Champagne Truffles, Aztec Truffles, Vegan Truffles and Gifts - Exotic Truffle Collection, 9 pieces

Oh how I adore Vosges...

I'm happy to read at least some of you have had good experiences, as I sent some to my daughter for Valentine's Day. I'll have to come back next week and post how she liked them.

I've received (and sent) them as gifts a couple times. The ones I received were good, even on the second day.
