They were generous! What is funny is a lot of the states our US transplants come from are in the top 4 or 5 so we will probably go up the list further! C'est la vie!

I agree, generous. Those are based on "test scores (laws, etc)" what you know and what you dont know, etc.

On a more positive note, Florida WAS recently ranked #3 in the nation for "best roads" --- tied with Montana, I think.

I think our roads are great! They are smooth and usually pretty new, wide lanes, etc. They do not always make the most sense but they are in great condition.

That great news the top two dumbest states are the where the most transplants are from. Essentially they are bringing our numbers down. That's funny I never heard a northerner say "Oh up north we had the dumber drivers than here in Florida".

Those of us in Florida do not need test scores to tell the whole story. Drive around once or twice and you will see blind old people that should not be driving, illegals driving the most beat up cars you'll ever see and going 20 mph under the speed limit so they don't get caught and deported, just plain inconsiderate drivers putting everyone's lives in danger, and of course the infamous 40mph left lane freeway drivers who cause accidents all around them and won't move over. Welcome to the melting pot.

Here is the thing, how many people that live in Florida ever took the driving test? I'll bet you won't find a lot and its still ranked #9.
