A sample of FL wetlands. These are the birth canal of FL's ground water supply. It is from these lands that our water originates whether it be from the tap or a fancy labeled bottle. These lands may not be thought of as beautiful like our gorgeous beaches but without them water would be even more of a precious natural resource. These same wetlands provide a much needed secluded nesting and birthing habitat for FL wildlife.

A remmnant of the damage that FL's wild beauty suffered in 2004. The twisted off cypress among those shown remaining here was a victim of hurricane Charley.

Default Aug 19th, 2008 ~ At the Front Of "Fay"

We did not see much here, I only had a couple of broken tree branches (nothing over 4" in diameter). I did take a couple of shots of the could formation over school... WHICH they canceled! UGH! LOL oh, and a shot of some wild berries... had to have SOME color to look at! (other than that ugly Grey Sky!)

Default Ocala Horse Fever

I was out and thought that I should start snapping shots of our Painted Horses... I see these wonderful artwork displays all the time. So, I will post these as I photograph them.
