Can someone tell me everything that is required and how much each of the things cost? Bringing a fully-owned, paid-off vehicle that has been titled and registered in another state to Florida.

What needs to be done at what cost? Does the title need to be transferred? What are the fees for the title, registration, taxes, impact fee, road-use tax, etc.....or anything else that I might not know about or be thinking of? Are any of these a percentage of the "value" of the vehicle or just flat-fees that are the same across the board?

Thanks.

If you had read the website like i just did, you would have come across this:

The $225 Initial Registration Fee must be paid when the owner does not have a license plate or record of a license plate registered in their name for a vehicle he or she previously owned (in Florida), to transfer to a newly acquired vehicle.

I had seen that long ago, but as my question stated, I need the comprehensive list of fees not just one or another. That does not mention title or taxes or any other possible one-time fees.

Give or take on the fees, but they shouldn't have changed much. And this is the full list, that I know of:

Additional vehicle in FL impact fee $225
Florida title transfer fee $100
Vehicle registration $28
plus proof of insurance from a FL insurance company
Next year cost $28

Since you already own the vehicle, you wouldn't pay a sales tax in Florida on it.

But there's a 6% use tax imposed. I don't know how they determine the base value to impose the tax though.

Oh you scared me as I am bringing my vehicle to FL as well.
But:

If you buy a taxable item outside Florida and bring it into (or have it delivered into) Florida, and you did not pay sales tax on the item, you owe use tax.

Registration is 28. But the vehicle plate costs more. My highlander was about $90 a year
