I get e-mails from The Villages all the time. Not sure if we would like that part of Florida as we like the beach and water.

We would do a 1031 exchange and rent the place out until we are ready to move which may or may not ever happen.

It can be 1/4 the size of The Villages but we want the social activities with more upscale amenities (restaurants) around. We are looking for more social - that would the primary reason for moving in the first place.

We have many 55 plus communities in our area, however, we may not fit in. My husband is a native Floridian (Miami) and I originated from the Midwest but came to Florida when I was 11. We are not clique-y type people, middle of the road on most things and get along with mostly everyone.

Just wondering if such a place exists.

Check out Heritage Isle in Viera, a beautiful master-planned community in Brevard County.
