Yes!

The great weather allows me to spend more time outdoors, recreating, exercising, & enjoying the beautiful scenery, all which reduces stress, & thus, is life-extending.

The low taxes have saved me Tens of Thousands of dollars; so far. It will reach Hundreds of Thousands; God willing. We use this extra money to travel, so it enriches our lives.

Being at the beach, or just within view of the water is very relaxing to me.

We've met 100+ new friends because when people move here, most are very receptive to meeting new people, especially in new home communities. If you have interests and/or active pursuits, you'll meet new friends.

It's easier to learn about retiree issues like SS, Medicare, wills & trusts, & healthcare because there are more people that age where we live to learn from for when we reach that age.

We got to buy a new home which better fits our needs, & have the potential to make $400k in gains, if we chose to sell it.

We get to enjoy more freedom because the local & state government are not in our faces here, like up North.

I'm a pescatarian, so fresher seafood makes my life better as opposed to non-coastal areas up North.

I could leave the big city, & suburbs behind for a more exburban life, so less traffic & crime (in my immediate area because I did my research).

Those are a few things that came to mind for me. No place is perfect, & not everybody likes Florida when they move here, which is why its best to rent for a while first. The Summers are brutal if you like being outdoors as I do. That is why we have so many Snowbirds. I leave for 1 month each Summer to get a break from the heat. Most people I know leave here for some portion of the Summer.

Not recently - too many invaders that think they know my home State and its people.

Definitely a negative development for quality of life issues - overcrowding of schools, neighborhoods, streets, increase in crime, inflation on all levels, bad attitudes, nasty people.

People who worry about Florida getting overcrowded should know that people do leave Florida.

Good, but I miss living in Florida. I miss my friends and my church down there. I love NC, but it's been lonely here since all my NC friends live 2 hours away.

Not enough, judging from the crowds still here.

Well, that's what happen you live in a state with year-round warm weather, no state income tax, and less covid restrictions. If you want people to stop moving to Florida, you would have to turn it to another California.

Yes, I moved here (Orlando) from San Francisco in 2015/2016 and still love it. I love the weather, outdoor activities, laid-back lifestyle, improved housing, natural springs, beaches, theme parks, boating, thriving atmosphere, etc.
