Do you happen to have a cite for this statistic?

To stay on topic, here is my contribution to the worst of Florida theme:

We stop and pet this dog every other day. He is chained outside 24/7.
Someone needs to steal this dog! Get this dog outta there. If I lived near that area I would get him. does'nt anyone care about it? I used to do animal rescue in New Jersey. Someone needs to get him outta there fast. Let me know if the poor thing gets a home he so deserves.

He has adequate food and shelter, and believe me, it's not too hot where we are. I think that this is all that is required here--or all that is enforced. Obviously he gets very little human companionship and his only exercise is running around on his chain--which he does do. I just pet him, my dog says hi, and I like to think we brighten his day.
You have to go at night and get him outta there.....pleeze! I would get him but I am soooo far away! This breaks my heart! There must be someone in this forum that could get him out and give him a nice home! YIKES! This upsets me...PLEEZE someone rescue him. He deserves a better quality of life!
I will say a prayer some kind sould will go rescue him and give him a wonderful home!

There must be someone who can give this poor soul a home. You have to go at night and unchain him. I am sue there is someone in this forum that can get him. I am way to far otherwise I would get him myself. This breaks my heart. Someone please give him the quality of life he deserves. I will say a prayer that someone helps get him outta there and to a nice safe loving home.
