I read that no place in Florida is immune to sinkholes.

There are sinkholes in many states, Brooklyn has been hampered by them lately, a couple of years back an entire family in Canada were killed when a sinkhole swallowed their home, Utah, Pa, TX, etc have them. A sinkhole in Guatemala swallowed a clothing factory.

Sinkhole such as the recent one in Seffner are rare, they normally just cause settlement issues with the house but ground cover collapse does not happen often at all. This map gives an idea of where the most sinkholes occur.

The 10 counties with the highest sinkhole incidence are Pasco, Hernando, Hillsborough, Marion, Pinellas, Citrus, Polk, Orange, Seminole, Lake

I read that no place is immune to tornadoes either, which are far more likely. So the point is what exactly?
