true. and furthermore, something I think a lot of these pot heads dont think of, is what they are proposing is a constitutional amendment.

To make something like smoking pot a constitution amendment is absolutely insane. If and when this thing don't work out as planned, it is nearly impossible to change the law. If and when the law needs to be altered slightly, because because loopholes in the law are realized, exploited and problems arise because of it, it will be nearly impossible to to make the necessary changes because of the fact that it is a constitutional amendment.

If for no other reason, this November, medical marijuana should not be passed, simply because of the was it is being legalized. The constitution should never have arbitrary items in it. It should be reserved to government structure, and basic rights only. If anyone wants medical marijuana legalized, do it the proper way. Push it through the legislature. At least this way, the law can be altered when necessary.

just heard Speaker Paul Ryan give a speech about the problem this afternoon..... I didn't realize that we have had more deaths from those damn drugs OD than by car wrecks each year. I was in healthcare and it was commonly taught to use narcotics to get rid of pain with impunity and not worry about addiction. I've been out of the business for awhile, but boy that was a wrong way to look at pain relief.

best wishes for you to get those things out of your life......
