I’m 57 with oily skin/large pores/some discoloration. I use Laura Geller baked foundation, but am also looking for a liquid that covers well, and is luminous but not too heavy so I can look nicer for nights out, etc.

Can someone point me to this unicorn?

L'Oreal True Match seems to get rave reviews.

Have you tried Bare Minerals? Not a liquid but since you have oily skin it might work.

I use L'Oreal Age Perfect liquid foundation (in a tube.) It has sunscreen protection although I still add my own 70 protection first thing in the morning as per my dermatologist's orders!

I try to stay away from anything with dry mica or talc - I just don't want to inhale any of the powders. I've even taken to using cream eye shadow to avoid the powders. I'm sure there will be eye rolls over this, but talcs have caused some real health issues in the past so I try to avoid them when possible.

Of course there are probably substances in my lipsticks and mascaras that might also cause health problems and I'm being selective with the talc and mica. Just trying to reduce risk and still keep looking "MAHvelous!" (We just watched a re-run of Billy Crystal impressions - such a great performer!)

I'd suggest Bare Minerals Liquid. When I was younger, I used the powder version.

The coverage is good, and best when lightly layered.

have similar skin to you and have tried loads of foundations.. but could never find one that didnt feel too heavy or oily... A friend who shops in Lidl or Aldi picked up Lacura foundation for me... love the colour as it has a little yellow in it nearer my own shade of skin.. hardly any smell.. goes on well and covers and looks good on... sort of middle priced.. but I like it.. can be bought online from other outlets...and ebay

Revlon Colorstay for me. In Buff
Although I’m 77 I still have oily skin and some acne marks.
I need a full coverage foundation.

love, love Estee Lauder double wear. Pricey, but can be found at the Cosmetics store. I like the ELF Putty Primer for pores or NYX Pore filler

My favorite used to be Lancome Renergie Lift. A lovely dewy finish but good coverage. I am not sure they even make it anymore.

Currently using a Chanel No 1 with camellia. A bit heavier than I generally prefer but it's gotten me through winter. The cream blush is really nice, too.

In summer, i rely on the sun
