Tees for women seem to be made out of the most fragile, flimsy materials these days. Some are so thin, if the colors are light, they're sheer when worn. I've also bought ones that shrunk a surprising amount in length once washed/dried & were too short for my taste.

Decades ago, I had a nice Calvin Klein tee that was made of a thick poly-cotton blend & it lasted forever. Since then, I've been searching for something of that caliber. The best way to say it is I like the materials men's tees are made out of, but even a small on a woman can be quite large... plus, they're not fitted.

My tees are all getting kind of raggedy, so I need some new ones. And, I like to wear more dressy, black or white fitted tees that are a bit longer (like to the thigh bones) underneath a suit jacket so I can wear them to work.

I've searched in stores & don't really find anything... sometimes I'll find a nice thick material but the style is too boxy & the color isn't something I'd wear (why is there so much drab olive in stores?)... I'm looking for black, dark gray or white... I also like a crew neck. I found the below on Land's End, on sale for $25, but the description says it's ribbed & I don't want that.

Does anyone have any store recommendations (online or brick & mortar) they feel might have what I'm looking for?

Thank you!

Buck Mason has high quality tees for men and women in various weights including some pretty heavy weight knits. Very nice weight and a few different cuts for women as well. It's one of the few places my wife and I buy plain tees these days.

Online experience is good and they do have limited brick and mortar stores as well.

TY, but unfortunately, all of the women's tees are boxy. I'm looking for fitted, like in the pic I posted.

Hmmm I might try KOTN then. My wife doesn't own anything from them, but I've seen their ads and they might have something for you.

Don't know about their women's T shirts but Hanes men's T shirts tend to be in a heavy fabric. Perhaps something from them in a smaller size might work.

Same, read the OP. Men's aren't fitted.

Nevermind. I'll find something in a store. 'preciate it.
