Awwww...that's the sweetest post. Love the idea of the bare feet. Whimsical and comfortable...

I remember sinking in the grass with my heels at my nephew's wedding. NEVER wear heels to an outdoor wedding! Duh, I had to learn the hard way. Whatever was I thinking?

Why not buy two different sizes in the Rothy's now. Then you'll know for sure. If they don't work out return them. If you're in or near a large city, check out one of their stores.

Congratulations to your son & his bride! It’s a comfortable shoe, tho I think of it as a more casual look. I’ve seen dressier styles of flats for brides & moms or the bridal party AND there are comfortable options for sling back kitten heels or super comfortable pumps for dancing, but….

If you want the Rothy’s, I don’t think you can go wrong. The cost is definitely worth it because you would be able to wear them again. You can also take off your heels & dance barefoot….like a lot of women will do. Do whatever makes you most comfortable & have fun at the wedding!

Thank you. The Rothys were a no go. The dress really called for an open toe shoe that had some glam to it. We are just shy of a week away from the big day and I have arrowed it down to 3 choices and have been wearing them around the house trying to decide which to go for. I also picked up an adorable pair of pave stoned flip flops to put on as the night progresses. They will look great with jeans and a white blouse later too!

I wear size 11 too. I have their Traveltime clogs in a ton of colors.

I did a search for black flats in our size. Maybe one will appeal to you? THe slingback pumps and the ballet flats look kind of dressy.

Just read your last post. FYI you can glam up your plain shoes with shoe clips. You can DIY your own with some old sparkly clip on earings.

Does it have to be a shoe? What about a dressy flat sandal? I wore a pair of silver sandals with a flower detail on them to a wedding.

I came across an ad for Rothy’s chic bridal flats a couple days ago & thought of your post. I think of Rothy’s as being more casual but apparently they are becoming more popular for all day or night dancing & wedding comfort too.

This is different than your original post & ask…but, I hope you found something glam & comfortable to dance the night away!
