Anna Wintour, editor of Vogue, is the most powerful voice in fashion. Her opinion can make or break a designer. Her predecessor was also a powerful woman. International editions of Vogue always had women editors. The first man was just hired for British Vogue.

There are also more female fashion designers today than in times past.

I've noticed regular women, mostly young ones posing for pictures with one leg out with toe pointed inward and on the ball of the foot. I don't think it is attractive, yeah looks pigeon-toed and unbalanced, but many young women do that for photos. I have no idea how it started or why that pose is a thing. Maybe it is supposed to be sexy?
