What do you like? I'm annoyed that Revlon, Maybelline, etc. have stopped making the quick drying. I picked up a Sally Hanson Lacquer because I loved the color - I HATE it... I have done my own nails for yrs. (and gotten many complements) - I did a base coat (Maybelline..always used Revlon before but it's gone - did one coat of the S.H. (I always do two coats) - but did one coat to let it dry well - then went about "business as usual", i.e., preparing dinner, etc. (fully prepared to do a 2nd coat after) - it had already chipped/worn!!!! (and I waited a full hour)
I LOVED the quick drying formulas from all the companies - they wore well, lasted me a week or so (and I have fairly long nails) - HOW can they stop making these and the "new" polish chips w/i an hr. or so?
I swear by O.P.I, Essie, and the "no chip" formula of Sally Hansen nail polishes.
I took my artificial nails off, and need to strengthen my natural nails.
It's a task, to keep polishes on my natural nails, because they always chip and peel off.
But, I also have to add that, in addition to it, I am so abusive and rough on my nails....kind of like wear and tear, since I am working with my hands....9 hours a day.
I had no idea they had all stopped making the quick dry stuff, boy, am I screwed! I loved that stuff....... is anyone making it at all anymore??????
we should bombard them with emails, seriously!
You have got to be kidding me, they stopped making it? Why?
I've had a permanent french UV gel over my nails for the past 7 months, and plan on having it removed in the next month or so. I'm an avid gardener, and I'm hard on my nails in the warmer months. But when I do paint my nails during the summer I would use the quick dry polish. It really wore the best. I guess I will also be looking for something else now. I guess I'll look into the Sally Hansen no-chip polish, or buy polish from my nail salon.
What??? I love the Mabelline Express finish!!!!! I just bought some the other day! I don't have hours to wait for my nails to dry!!!!!! I'm going to have to go and "stock up"!

This is why I got solar nails, I got tired of waiting for polish to dry only to have it smear. I love my solar nails, I go in every three weeks for a refill and I'm done.
But what about us that polish our own nails? I'm going to write to Revlon and Maybelline.
This S.H. that I wanted for a special occasion today has a big chip out of middle of thumb nail, arg..... totally NOT worth the work for this nail polish.
Gotta say I paint too slowly to be a fan of the "quick drys." I just bought a new bottle last week and by the time I got to nail #2 the paint was gummy and wouldn't spread evenly (it was L'Oreal by the way). I ended up with gunky looking toe nails, so I just removed it all and left 'em naked...what a waste!
The normal/slow dry stuff is so much easier for me to apply. No gumminess!
I do second the OPI vote. That's fairly quality stuff.
