My wife isn’t a jewelry person to begin with, but wears anklets and toe rings because I like them (and NOT, it should be said, because I dictate them).
I think by now they’re classics which won’t really go out of style.
As always, I’d say wear whatever it is you like, don’t worry about fashion or trends. Be you!
I like them....in the summer.....if I'm wearing them with socks, something always gets caught. I think that's how I lost my gold one.
The remaining one is silver and has little teeny tiny balls all around it, almost like a bellydancer. Looks good.....funky boho....
Nope, I don't like them. I see them primarily on women who are 50 lbs overweight with ankle tattoos and toenails painted green or blue and spikey red hair. I associate them with a certain type of woman. I don't feel they're classy, that's all.

Well…this thread is old so in 2017, they weren’t in style. BUT last year they started to make a little comeback on the runways & in the fashion vlogs…especially with shorts or skirts & bow flats. I’ve even seen them over leggings with loafers. IMO tho it can be a sexy look with the right skirt or shorts….BUT we have to be careful not to go for the “school girl uniform look” AND not like an athletic ankle sock ofc!
I have worn the same gold anklet for nearly 30 years. I never take it off except when it is required of course (massages or medical...), I love it, obviously.
Yes, I wear them in the summer. Brings attention to my sexy legs LOL (along with a pair of killer heels).
Good point about that...if one has cankles, then it's not as attractive. And I don't mean that as a weight disparagement comment. My wife, as an example, has an ankle that's bigger than the other one from an injury. People are built differently, etc...
