I recently got sucked in to buying the Arbonne anti-aging skin care line at a direct sales party. So much stuff - I have it lined up on the counter in the order it's supposed to be used or I would never remember. I find the whole routine very boring but I manage to compress it into just a few minutes morning and evening.
I took "before" pics and if there's no appreciable difference in 6 months I'll go back to drugstore products.
Lost Roses, take a marker & on top of the lids, write the #s in the order you should use them, so you don't have to keep them in any order & it's easier to see.
Anyone discovered any new skincare products that became your holy grail?
Dr. Dennis Gross makes a good cleanser called Alpha Beta® Pore Perfecting Cleansing Gel in which I see the difference after 1 use & I don't think I've ever seen that in a product before:
At the moment only german buttermilk soap to wash face.
Past months used up all sorts of face items. At 61 keeping it simple, cleansing, moisturizer and once in a while a sheet mask or sleeping pack or rosehip oil.
My sleeping pack was discontinued so still in search of one and in search of rosehip oil, it goes rancid quick so looking for a small bottle.
Pure shea butter Peter Pharma use for very dry skin areas and a little for hair with a drop of sweet orange essential oil into it, rub between hands to mix add to hair.
The mail delivery has delays so my face skincare items, hand creams etc are somewhere in transit.
I am loving Drunk Elephant. Pricey as heck but my skin has changed for the better these past few months.
Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover
Clinique Face Soap
Clinique toner
Dermalogica eye cream
Drunk Elephant serum - I alternative between their Framboos and Protini serums
Drunk Elephant Protini Moisturizer Cream mixed with DHC olive oil
Drunk Elephant Retinol Cream 3x a week
Glam glow mud mask once a week
Fresh mask with black tea once a week
I don't wear makeup, but the evening cleansing clears off all the dirt from running around in this climate, and any allergens that might have attached themselves to me. Also helps keep the CPAP face mask from irritating my skin.
Seems to be working for me. Folks around here don't know that I'm 70.
Get in shower.
Wash face with Irish Spring.
Apply DHC Pore Milk moisturizer.
Apply Laura Geller powder make up, if I’m going out.
Wash off before bed with whatever soap is at the sink.
Repeat next day.

2 steps: Cereve foaming facial wash in the shower and TJ's Enrich facial lotion w/spf 15 after that. Going on 10 years with this routine.
Sometimes I wear a little makeup but usually not so I don't wash my face before bed. Ironically my face is the only part of me body that isn't currently effected by sebderm or eczema or other messy dermatological issues.
I wash my face in the shower every morning with Noxzema. Been doing this for years. If I wear make up I take it off using a baby wipe. Works well and does not irritate my skin. I am 52 and I don't use any serums, under eye cream or any anti aging stuff. I do have Psoriasis and it's being treated with Tremfya (1 injection every 2 months) thankfully it was only on my back and Elbows. Never had acne. I do have dry scalp and I use head and shoulders dry scalp for that and condition my hair 2 times a week. My skin is more dry than oily and I admit I don't moisturize enough. People think I am in my late 30's. I don't see it LOL. When I do wear make up I use Neutrogena liquid make up, blush on my cheeks, pencil in my eyebrows. This is high allergy season for me so mascara and eyeliner are only worn when going out with family or friends. I feel less is more. Occasionally I will wear a pale colored lipstick. My great grandmother's secret to good skin was Vaseline on her face arms and legs every night. She lived to be 95 and my mom said her skin was beautiful and soft.
