I can think of all kinds of exercises or activities (many of them rather dumb) where a person using only their body weight could hurt themselves.
If you get the chance, look into the complete "Sun Salutation". Start slow, don't over-stretch and within a couple weeks you will notice a big difference in your body.

Can't fix stupid, but sure can tell them. Someone can hurt himself with a flower petal, doing stupid stuff. Otherwise, body is set to handle its own weight.
Just started these exercises and wondering if they build strength and a lean build.
Anyone have some long term experience with these exercises?
Any exercise that challenges the muscle will build strength and muscle, especially if that challenge comes somewhere between 5-30 repetitions (if you can comfortably do 500 Hindu squats, probably won't do much strength wise).
To get a lean body, you need to mind your calories.
