When asked for a one-word description of Vice President Joe Biden, more people use negative words like “idiot” and “buffoon” than positive words, according to a new Pew Research Center and the Washington Post poll.

Of those polled, 38 percent used a negative one-word term when describing Joe Biden while only 23 percent used positive words. “Idiot,” “incompetent” and “clown” were the top negative words used to describe Biden.[quote]

Boy, what does that make Paul Ryan if an "idiot and buffoon" totally schooled him in a VP debate?

Only idiot buffoons full of malarky would think Biden schooled Ryan during the debate. IMHO.

Biden is no dummy. He is not an idiot, either. He is a very bright guy.

His performance the other night was rude. His interruptions and smirky attitude were turn-offs.

I thought his behavior was unbecoming, but I have watched biden's career for about 3 decades and he is definitely not an idiot.

How did Biden "school" Ryan?

He flat out lied about Libya and had no understanding of the federal budget. He also never addressed his administration's failure to pass any budget for 3 years, not to mention the fact that they have NO PLAN WHATSOEVER for balancing the budget or addressing unsustainable entitlement programs.

If you really believe that gibbering manic madman schooled the calm and collected Paul Ryan, you really are a hyperpartisan Democrat shill.

The liberals keep saying this as if it's common knowledge, but polls show that the number of people who thought Ryan won was very similar to the number of people who thought Biden won.

Another huge thing that Biden lied about repeatedly was their tax plan.

The name-calling is inappropriate.

However, Biden's frequent laughing, snickering and interrupting during the debate was extremely rude, especially when very serious issues were being discussed.

The GOP and Dem voters' opinions aren't surprising, but look at what the Independents thought of Biden!
