Glad the Miners are in a bowl game AND it is easy for us to get to.

Bad luck though. The New Mexico Bowl is on the same day as a Miner home hoops game against Texas Tech. I am not sure which I will end up attending.

You can do like me and drive up to Albuquerque, watch the football game, drive back and be back in time for at least most of the bball game

A few people have said that also. I can't see making the drive back in under four hours.

I have driven Albuquerque to El Paso on many occasions and driving the speed limit I have made it in 4 hours. I usually dont go the speed limit and usually make in in 3 hours and 15 minutes. I figured that the New Mexico Bowl kicksoff at noon and won't last for more than 4 hours, which gives ample time to leave at around 4 30 and get into the Don parking lot by tipoff at 8, and even if I dont make it by tipoff the game would probably be 10 minutes in, which is most of the basketball game. And if it's a lopsided score at the bowl game I would probably leave early.

Interesting plan. One I might try as well. Not sure yet.
