Made 300% on some calls in like three hours!

911 point intraday DOW swings are like that.

WOW. I've been a little swamped today, what the heck happened?

Big deal. We'll see this nonsensical behavior for some time to come.

Despite it all, I went to my 401(k) site and I'm well-diversified and thought it might offer a little positive bump.

Guess not:

" Personal Rate of Return from 01/01/2008 to 11/12/2008 is -39.8%"

Well, your 401K wouldn't show a rise, as it's most likely in mutual funds. They don't even price for another hour or two. Then the site probably doesn't recompute your year to date until after midnight.

It is nonsensical, but it sure is profitable...

Just remember to short tomorrow as it drops back down 800 points

I'm going to straddle the .DJX I believe. Might buy some longer term calls on DIG or USO as well.

ERX was up 30% for the day and 50% intraday from low to high!
