They already have the new currency ready to roll out if/when needed. It's called the "Amero". Lou Dobbs is really incensed over this whole NAU thing, and the NAFTA Superhighway. They are all roiled in TX with eminent domain cutting through farm and ranch land for the highway. But we don't see much about it in the mainstream media, do we?

Mexico is dredging deep harbors for container ships from China. The containers will be loaded onto trucks and pass right THROUGH the US border with NO inspection! Inspection will be done at the Port of Kansas City, which will become "Mexican Sovereign Territory"! Yep - Mexico will actually own the KC Port! This agreement was signed by Bush, Vicente Fox of Mexico, and whoever was running Canada at the time. It's a done deal.

You can't blame Bush, Clinton, Obama, or McCain for any of this. This was the idea of the bankers and New World Order types. No wonder they call us the "sheeple"! Aren't there any more red-blooded Americans out there willing to fight for this country? I mean - HERE, not in the Middle East!

I'm a little pessimistic about an "Amero" showing up. However, if M3 money supply growth is huge and the domestic pool of goods shrinks and we consequently encounter a hyperinflation scenario, the Fed might transition "New Dollars" from old dollars. For instance, every 100 dollars becomes a "New Dollar". Whether it's called an Amero or whatever is inconsequential. It's usually a last resort of hyperinflation outside of trying to enforce through penalty of imprisonment or death the use of dollars as the only form of currency (e.g. get caught refusing dollars for purchases and you could face a firing squad).

The elimination of the old dollar for a "new dollar" obviously benefits debtors and creates a peasant society where financial freedom, the middle and upper class, are wiped out.

Hyperinflation always precedes tyranny. These conditions of course are a very very worst case scenario and I pray to God that we don't encounter it. However, desperate times allows the government the opportunity to call upon desperate measures. The New Deal, Patriot Act, etc...they're all a byproduct of fear and scapegoating.

So "lead from China" will pass right through to us now

Are you doing a government survey?

Never.

1. It violates our constitution. So it will never happen.
2. The US dollar has actually appreciated against the CAD so far this year.

The federal reserve and paper money already violate the Constitution (or, at least, states may accept and make only gold and silver coins legal tender, and the federal government has no authority to create a national bank, just as Jefferson said). What makes you think they'll obey the Constitution?

A global dollar would be rather nice. (:

But, No. There is no need for an "Amero". The Euro is falling as we speak. It won't take long before those countries pull from it.

The American dollar was "really" overvalued and it was done so on purpose by foreign countries so that they can make cheaper products for higher profit. This is no secret and everyone knows it. We been trying to keep it overvalued but the thing is, its an artifically elevated value and what is artificial will eventually come down and it has done so dramatically. However, now that it has lost a lot of its value, it isn't really a devalued dollar, we just haven't found a way to keep it overvalued. What has made the devaluation more rapid was the decline of the economy. The government's response may be "successful" in preventing further devaluation BUT it may not be able to overvalue the dollar again. So here is the conundrum... once we stop devaluing the dollar, will it go back to its overvalued target? Nope... never. The foreign governments have enough economic power to not need the dollar anymore and with the decline of the dollar.. its a done deal. Their currency have been increasing and as such, their standard of living... what we enjoy in our current "standard of living" may not be possible anymore with the dollar being pretty much static. American's are going to have to live with it... we destroyed the dollar and its not going to be overvalued again.. but we aren't desperate or stupid enough to merge with Mexico or Canada either... a really dumb move.. it will devalue the dollar even more... and make its "true" value even lower...

I think we could get a populist revolt in Texas. There are quite a few of us Bible thumpers that totally disapprove of the Trans Tex Corridor. 80% of Texans don't agree with it, and Perry keeps pushing it anyway. We'd be so much better off independent from the United States. I'd die in a fight for secession. I'm a Texan before an American.
