Too funny. So I got Harper a real bone with chicken flavored gunk pre-stuffed into it. Well he has been working on it for a few days now and this morning he started the funniest routine. He carries it back to the back door and whines to be let out. So after he finishes whining (don't reward bad behavior!) and settles in I let him out... without his bone. He does his thing, hangs out a bit, then comes back inside.
Not half an hour later he is at the back door again with his bone. It didn't click till a couple times of this that it is getting his bone outside that he really wants to accomplish. I can only guess so he can bury it. Too bad, he's going to work on it some more before I let him take it out and bury it somewhere.
