I have a pair of Jack Russels I need to find a good home for. I would not recommend them for families with younger children. The male is becoming aggressive to my kids and would like to find a home before I have to have him put down for biting one of them.

They must go together. Male is around 8 years old the female is around 4 years old. They are current on shots and are fixed.

Thanks,

he is 8. The female is great but to help with the move we are requesting they go together. It is going to be sad as we got him when we first got engaged.

I think you maybe directing that to me. Any child under 12 I would say, at that age they should know better than to tug on the dogs ears etc.

Heres the trick..when it starts to get aggressive with one of your kids..kick it in the face..it'll learn REALLLLY quick I'm just kidding...well sort of..I'd kick 1000 dogs in the face if it meant the safety of my children. Good luck tho that is a shi*ty situation

Is he neutered? If not, have you tried that? I have an un-neutered rat terrier,(and three young kids) and I know "terriers" can be difficult. Sharp noises such as an empty water bottle filled with marbles/change can be a very effective deterrent for a terrier. And it is not uncommon for them to sometimes bite if they are bothered, but the kids will learn not to do what provoked the bite, I have an 11, 8 and 2 1/2 yr old. It is hard for them to get dominance over a terrier. Esp. a Jack, I think the rats are so much easier.

Maybe a photo of your babies will help! Young kids aside, there are plenty of pet lovers out there that will appreciate your pets. I wish I could take them off your hands.
