Our dog farts and seems to have a good bit of gas
The vet said we could give him regular strength gas X but can’t find anything except xtra strength or stronger
GasX is basically simethicone
So can I get some drops for babies that have a lower strength dose?
Medium dogs are recommended to get 40 ml
That is easy to see/do with a liquid med
I checked the ingredients
Beside the simethicone (main ingredient) there are minimum amounts of others that I looked up
In large quantities they could make a dog sick but it does not contain xylitol
Some of the chew tabs that are higher dose simethicone have flavors like mint that I don’t think my dog would take to if it came in lower strength
Probiotics solved the problem for us. Before that my one dog's gas was so smelly that the odor would wake up my husband at night. Her bed was on the floor next to his side of the bed.
