Hey all. Don't usually do this (and I hope I am not breaking any forum rules)...

This little guy needs help fast

https://www.gofundme.com/f/eye-remov...ery-for-mosley

Hope he can get this eye out before New Year...

I usually donate to local SPCA, but have been put on a ton of mailing lists... so I was looking at different ways to help animals in need.

All the best and Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays!

There is a way to get pressure in an eye like that to go down in many cases, shared on Earth Clinic:

https://www.earthclinic.com/pets/glaucoma.html while waiting to be able to get the surgery done.

Thanks for this.

For anyone that has been considering giving to help Mosley, I have verified that everything is on the up and up.

At the bottom of the GFM page you can see she posted the quote from the vet.

Hi, my name is Mosley. I'm a 12 1/2-year-old cocker spaniel with really bad glaucoma

When Mom adopted me in August of 2013, I already had a cataract in my left eye; I was only 3 1/2 years old.

Think Before you donate!! Why could the owner NOT afford this? It has been TEN Years!!! This spells a Cruel owner Or SCAM!!

I did think. Did you think how that sounded before typing /yelling that? Sheesh

I researched the Vet who issued the quote you see on the GFM page and corresponded with the owner.

My biggest question was regarding whether it was a scam. From everything I have seen, it is not.

If she is guilty of something, it is being irresponsible by not getting ahead of this. You could definitely call that cruel in one way of thinking... I get it.

I sent you a DM Katie. We will talk offline.

I have asked Mods to delete the thread as this was probably not a good idea on my part.

Well, I guess my thread is still here...

Which is good news it turns out as I was informed that Mosley had his surgery and is doing great!

Owner said his surgery was on Dec 30th.

She said he is "waggy" and seems happy for the first time in a while!

Thanks to anyone who had him on their mind and in prayers!
