You, on the other hand, will be better off moving into a dog-owners-only community where YOUR dogs STAY in YOUR own world.

Bizarre how those who inflict their indulgences on others play victim. YOUR animal is inflicting itself on others. Some others may not care much, but nobody actually wants other people's dogs using their property as bathroom. It is obvious that too many dog owners themselves do not want their own dogs using their own yards as bathrooms. And yet they wonder what the anger is about.

Well, speaking for myself, as a dog owner and trainer, I believe the OP has the right to expect the husky owner to restrain the husky and keep the pee of their lawn and property. I have, in the past, BEEN that rude dog owner - but I did not mean to be rude. When I was confronted, the confrontation was, well, confrontational! E.g. hostile. And I did not react well, either. Kinda like the husky owner. But that home owner was in his rights, and I was wrong. I don't worry too much about dog pee - but regular urination in one spot can kill plants - and if a neighbor doesn't like dogs - or doesn't like MY dogs, I do try to keep the dogs out of their yard. Sometimes we have small transgressions, but we do manage to limit them.

OP - good luck, stay strong, and carry on. I'm posting this because so many of the repliers seem to think it's ok to use your lawn for a doggy bathroom.

Here's the law in our city.
