It's the breed for me! But yeah, hard-headed is an understatement. He's mellowed at 2, but that first year, we would actually have arguments with each other, with me giving a command and him barking back at me because he didn't want to do it!

Once you find a way to direct all that brain power and energy, though, they are amazing. Flyball, lure coursing, nosework, etc. - he loves it all!

Happy to say that my houla pup is doing so well. She's going to the door when she has to go! Thanks for all the feedback!

Have a 15 week old had for two weeks I am not having issue with pooping but this little sucker is a peeing machine and the sneakiest little little pee monster ever I keep him with me all the time thanks to my job, I just watched a video on teaching how to ring bell at door. I think I will give this a try anyone have experience with that?

Better idea is to help him become housebroken by taking him out every 2 hours and crating him in an appropriate size crate between potty breaks. When he is out of the crate keep him tethered to you, learn his discomfort signs and get him out as soon as he starts sniffing or trying to wander, or if you see him go into a squat. Outside when he potties give him high value treats, toy, play time, but whatever you do don't take him inside again right away. You want him to associate pottying with a party, not with going inside and fun ending.
