what a wonderful person your friend is. I am praying this dog pulls through. It is things like this that make me ashamed to be part of the human race, how could anyone treat an animal this badly? Prayers are with you
One more person praying for this brave, wonderful dog. The picture was enough to break my dog-loving heart...
Racelady, God bless you for allowing everyone to share the good thoughts and prayers. I am truly hoping he will make it and have a long, happy life.
Please don't forget to tell your friend she is a wonderful person indeed. I have the utmost respect and admiration for people who help abandoned dogs, or any pets, for that matter. I am also praying that she will be incredibly blessed for her wonderful heart.
I will second all of this post. Thank you from Tookey
This is the kind of hurting dog that Noah's Ark Rescue in SC takes in. They also take in injured dogs. They give them the best possible care and then send them to loving hom,es. It just makes me sick to see what people do - or ignore as they pass by. Bless your friend!
Check on the way.
Like others, I couldn't watch the video. Glad I can write a check.
My thought is, if the dog simply couldn't be reasonably saved, at least he was off the street and in good and loving care, and his last experiences would be that love and care.
I've had that thought about two of my pound adoptions- if I'd been the animal control gal, I might have triaged and put them down with love. Instead, she poured heart and soul into saving them and now I have old Artie and one-tooth George as fine old pets.

I love this.
PS. And I really hope to meet them once we sell our house and move out your way. (The house is on the market, by the way. WOOT!)
My friend has had a very busy day at work and has not had a chance to update the blog, but she tells me that he is doing well today. She is hoping to get the blog updated soon.

Thanks for letting us know I checked it a couple of hrs ago but figured she would update at some point.
I did notice in the new video that her one dog was beginning to show an interest. The black dog seen peeking up onto the porch is her grandma-geezer dog that helps her with orphaned kittens. Chica is a natural mother-er of sick/injured things.
The saddest part I think is that she thinks this is a puppy, only 8 or 9 months old.
the blog was updated last night..... poor little fella is in terrible shape.... but seems to be making progress....
and yes, he DOES look like he is still a puppy......
