I took the top off the feeder and his head wasn't moving just like his body but I saw him blinking his little eye.

Soooo..... I tried to maneuver his head out of the hole in the bird feeder with no luck. I was so afraid of breaking his neck.

I gently put my finger on his neck and pressed down enough to where I could turn his head and free him.

He was such a little happy camper and he flew right away.

I am so glad we saw him and he was still alive and could be saved!

YAY!
A thousand reps and a "free" hug to you!

Talking about saving birds, I want to share one...

I came into the sun room one day and my daughter is standing there with a ping pong paddle in her hand, looking at the screen door. Asked her whats up and she said there was a hummer with it's beak stuck between the mesh. I scream. "don' hit it" and she just started laughing. Said she wasn't going to hit it, she was using the paddle to easy his little nose out of the holes.

Hello freebie guys and gals

First of all, Tons of reps for the birdie!!

I'm so happy it's Friday! It will be a busy weekend but at least I'm free for a few hours today.

It would be wonderful to know the places where you guys have lived. They sound exciting.

I want to jump in here and say thanks to GloryB for leading me in the directions of the free stuff!

We like to take trips on the bike and the trial size stuff is perfect for the saddle bags.

Thanks neighbor...we have to meet up for coffee sometime!

I have a friend at work who lives in your area. I thought I read you were around Rosewood. I live out towards the airport, but since I work downtown at the newspaper...I can get anywhere in Orlando quite easily.
