I've been shopping in Macy's for an evening dress to wear to a wedding. The store in Palm Beach has very few dresses in their store, Miami has a few more choices in store. I think we are being forced to shop online for things such as this. My sister wears a plus size and there are hardly any dresses in the stores so she is forced to buy online and return most of the items. I guess the stores find it easier/cheaper to carry fewer items in store and deal with the return. I miss the times (yes, I'm older) where I could take 6 dresses into the dressing room and try them all on. If I needed a different size, a saleslady was always around to get me a different size. Times have changed!

Yes, me too. I did have luck finding a dress for my mother's funeral online at JC Penney's but it was a long slog (Googling "black funeral dress" and getting results that were club dresses, mini-dresses, etc. But in general it's hard for me to buy dresses online because even if it fits I might not like it. I have to do that soon though as my nephew is getting married in November.
