Before brewing, tea leaves contain more caffeine than coffee beans. After brewing, however, a cup of coffee has more caffeine than a cup of tea. The reason for this is simple: coffee is a stronger beverage than tea.

I should have said that, for me, tea has more caffeine than coffee. I like strong tea. When I make tea, I use two teabags instead of one. When I make coffee, I dont add nearly so much as is recommended -- because I dont really care for the taste of coffee unless it's weak and has cream and sweetener added to weaken it even more. So I'm getting a lot more caffeine in my tea than I would in my coffee.

Well, I guess if you ate only coffee beans............. LOL

I got a coupon for a free bag of Purina dog food today! Lulu eats only canned food (because she has no teeth and also because I'll never feed dry food again after Queenie bloated on it) so I'll donate it to the dobe rescue group. Thanks so much, peachrose, for posting this freebie!

Today I received free samples of vitamins. These are vitamins that I already take daily, although they're a different brand. I wouldnt normally ingest stuff like this but I do use this national brand for other vitamins so I feel safe trying out the samples. Thanks again, peachrose!

I got a packet of a hair repair mask from Garnier - looking forward to trying it. I guess as you get to a period in your life, aging, coloring, etc. - hair gets totally different than what you were used to. Thanks for listing the freebie - guessing it was peachrose

I must have missed the post about pinchme boxes -- but a trash bag is better than an empty mailbox, Camper.

I just signed up for a Pinchme Box. It says I will be sent a jar of Heinz Mayonnaise. I wonder if that will be an actual jar of mayo or a coupon for mayo? I hope it's a jar. Coupons are boring. I guess I'll find out in four weeks.
