There's a place in south Garland at Broadway and Duck Creek, just north of I30 that has the cheapest ones I've seen. It's called Bargain Town. The sets start at $69 for twin up to $500. Bargain Town

Just an FYI - Mattress Prices are rarely if ever sold for the sticker price. Most mattresses are the same across the board with a name change. So a Simmons Beautyrest Classic will have 3 different names between a Mattress Outlet Store, Macy's, Stacy's etc. I have seen price differences vary by $1000 for the same bed. So when you find a bed you like, tell them you need to compare prices and will be back. They will usually drop the price on the spot. The store I bought ours from had the prices of every store and I think they came down a $900 over their advertised sale price.

So even though you are looking for a cheap mattress set, a little research on your part may get you a better bed than you intended for the same price.

I know this thread is old, but I figured someone may be able to benefit from the information.
I just purchased a BeautyRest or whatever it is called memory foam mattress and (metal) box spring for $300 at Mattress Giant. Mattress was originally $899 and box spring was $229.
If you don't care if your mattress and box spring are exact fabric match, this may be a good place for you to look.
They are really good about finding you a clearance items for cheap, very friendly associates.
I also looked at Sleep Experts and their box springs start at $119 for wood and $260 for metal box spring.
I went to the Mattress Giant in Plano on 75 & 15th
