Man using a line trimmer fought off robbery suspect. Eventually the suspect got away was found at a local hospital and arrested.

I remember my grandmother had a weed eater with thick plastic blades at the end rather than the fishing line looking stuff. Judging by the picture, it looks like this thug encountered the latter. It could have been much worse for him.

Also robbery suspects don't look to be in much shape against landscaper who labors 12 hours a day solid muscle. The fact that they came back with a gun is scary because guy could have been killed over a leaf blower. Seems like today more and more thieves are armed with guns. Seen more then a few incidents of catalytic converter theft where victim tries to stop them they pull a gun.

Suspect in court it was noted he violated his parole he was a criminal who was on parole robbing people not a surprise. If the state can't figure out how to monitor someone on parole should not have a parole system.
