An intoxicated driver high on cocaine & alcohol kills another driver high on meth and alcohol in a fatal Las Vegas crash. Both driving over 70 mph in a 40 mph zone.
The surviving driver had a prior dui in 2017 in Omaha. And also had pot in her system. A passenger survived after being ejected from the car. Little information on victim.

Very odd - this article states that the driver she killed was "not impaired".
And this happened in January. She was just arrested in June, and NOW this is making news? What the heck?
The victim was drunk with bac three times the limit and 'substantial' amount of meth in their system
My guess there probably some pre trial or pre charging motions to go through. The prosecutors were probably pushing for a plea. The accused driver might be trying to claim it was as much the victims fault as hers. They did formally charge her in late spring but had to issue an arrest warrant.
I've seen these cocktail/mixture of drugs and alcohol cases move slowly for some reason. We had a guy kill two turning into a fast food parking lot and he had prescribed/illegal sedatives, pot and alcohol in system. They were slow to charge in that as well.
If they were both being reckless, driving like maniacs on a busy street, they both got what they had coming to them. I'm glad no innocent people got hurt.
One high on coke and alcohol while the other high on meth and alcohol. Were they doing an experiment to see which combo offers the greatest high? We will never find out, at least not from the meth with alcohol combo.

I promise I'm not asking this in a sarcastic or sassy way...but truly just wondering...
Since coke is a stimulant, and alcohol is a depressant, and I think meth is a stimulant...what WOULD the high be like? To me, it seems like it would not be a pleasant combination.
