How's Stamford like?? I heard the suburbs of Connecticut are more affordable and safer? Is stamford..have a good community? And economy? As well as being safe? and having good schools?
I heard New Millford is nice and Waterford are good.

Stamford is a small city in affluent and expensive Fairfield County. It is less than an hour to New York City and is home to some of the country's largest an d most prestigious corporations and financial institutions. It is surrounded by some of the country's most desirable and pricy suburbs (Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan) so it is not an inexpensive place to live. Overall Stamford has an excellent economy and is a nice place to live if you can find reasonable housing. Jay
