Normally I just do a trade in with the dealer, and don't have to do much with it.
This time around, there is a guy from another state that wants to buy it.
So, I thought to myself: this would be easy, I just need to do a bill of sale, sign the Title, and take the plates off.
Well, after some research, I'm getting conflicting information about notarizing the Title (here in CT). Some say yes, and some say no.
For those who have do this before, does the Title need to be notarized ?

If you have any advice for me, please let me know.

Take a look at the CT DMV webpage at
DMV: Selling Your Vehicle

No notary is needed. Fill in and sign title. The webpage has a Bill of Sale form you can print and fill in. Make and keep copies of title and Bill of sale. Keep plates and return them to DMV to stop city taxes.
