I have lived in UA for 6 years and went to highschool there
I found that the rest of Columbus hates Upper Arlington
So without stereotypes, because you will just sound unintelligent, please give logic as to why there is the overall bad tag with UA.

Default In my experience

I went to OSU, and I knew/was friends with a fair amount of people from UA. I think there are a few reasons that add up.

The first is good old fashioned class envy. It is a wealthy suburb and there is the perception (not just from UA) that wealthy people are snobs.

What I think is the primary reason is the way that people from UA talk. I was taken aback by how consistent the enunciation and speech patterns were, and now I can almost tell if someone is from there just by listening to them speek. I have found that those that I know have such deliberately clear enunciation of every word that it almost comes off as overly proper and condescending. Obviously that is not the case, but this goes to reinforce the aforementioned stereotype.

I don't hate upper arlington, other than the fact that every time I go to the Kroger on the north side of it I need an extra 10 minutes to shop because everything is in the wrong spot!

I love UA. Two Japanese restaurants and stores. Nice shopping areas and decent food. Also I drive past some really beautiful houses. The only reason I would dislike UA is if they go through with the plan to allow golf carts on the road.

How could anyone hate Upper Arlington? It's a pretty community and it is easy to get around. I love driving through the area and looking at the homes there. If someone hates UA it's probably because they are envious because it is known as a wealthy community. I live in Dublin and hear all the time how "all people from Dublin are snobs". That's not true...it's just someone's jealousy coming out. Be proud of where you are from!

I've lived in UA for almost three years. It is the least friendly place I've ever lived. Neighbors are unwelcoming. If you aren't from here, they don't want to know you.

Let me rephrase my comment...UA is a pretty community. I honestly don't know anything about the people, so maybe I'm not that big of a help here

Untrue. When I first moved to Columbus and was scouting apartments, I spent some time in UA and thought this was one of the most welcoming areas.

from someone who does not live in UA and has lived in C-bus all my life. The area/people are looked at from us as snobby richies. Just as Dublin is a higher end area and the south side is white trash. every area has a "stigma".
