We visited chapin recently and liked the area. We looked at mungo homes and Eastwood homes. We liked the mungo home developments. I did read a lot of negative reviews on BBB about mungo homes. Eastwood had mostly positive reviews. Anyone have experience with either of these builders?

For sure Eastwood. I would steer away from Mungo. They build to the minimum requirement when it comes to quality. My mom has a mungo home.

I know of a lot of people who get two or three just to be safe.

The issue with Mungo is they sell to many first time buyers who are expecting a $300K home for $220K. Value for the dollar, Mungo builds a good home.

My advice for new home buyers is get all the options you want when purchasing. Look at all the upgrades also. Do it when buying, not later.

I had a Mungo home and a friend also. We both had a multitude of problems with our homes from roof leaks to poor drywalls.

Where did you own the home? How long ago?
