Any news on when USC is going to remove the Mississippi State banner from Williams-Brice? Asking for a friend.

They replaced it once and while better, the color is still a bit off. I don't know why we've struggled for so long to get the garnet shade right. I mean, you literally have the block C right above the banner and the background of it is the proper shade of garnet.

I watched "The Blind Side" for the first time a week or so ago and I cringed when Lou Holtz told Michael Oher, "We'd love to see you in Gamecock red!"

For christ sake, Lou. Red? I wanted to beat that old curmudgeon with a pale of paint. Red.

I take pride in the fact that our colors and mascot are pretty unique. Lets put some effort in maintaining that.

Do you mean the “burgundy” banner I saw hanging Friday night was the replacement?? No f’ing way!!! If so, I can only imagine how bad the first one was.
