Anyone have any ideas about employment opportunities in Estes Park, Colorado? Would you recommend working at Estes Park Medical Center over driving down to Boulder, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley? Any other medical-related/healthcare employers you would recommend in the area?

Wink Natural health

I know nothing about the Estes Park Medical Center, other than talk it may even expand. Can't imagine why. There may be some independent health practitioners in Estes Park, CO you might also try.

There are people who commute between Estes Park and such front range communities as Loveland, CO. The roads are generally in good condition, and a daily commute possible. Perhaps obvious but such a commute would be, well, a commute; the drive into or from Boulder, CO roughly an hour.

Estes Park enjoys a superb location with some of the best scenery anywhere. It is also a relatively small mountain town, albeit overrun with tourists come summer and holidays. Depends what you like. Ft. Collins, CO or any of the other front range towns will offer a lower cost of living and far more amenities. Although if your notion of amenities extends more to nature and less to shopping, Estes Park is your kind of place.

There are so many good hospitals in the region, I think you should decide where you want to live then look at the hospitals that city has.

My wife ran the business office there for a few years not too long ago, She liked it quite a bit. It is a designated critical access hospital (rural under served populace). Nice little hospital. We enjoyed our time in Estes-especially the off season-don't miss the wind however-by far the windiest place we have ever lived.
