Another beauty of a pic thread, Vegas!

An old co-worker friend of mine may still jam at that coffee shop there in Parker! Tim (Coloduck, Colorado representative of the duck down) is his name. We worked at the Conmed/Aspen Labs off of Jordan road years ago. I've never heard him jam there. I wished I had now though. We're not gettin' any younger.

Kiowa! And those road pics! I just so happen to live on an extremely bumpy gravel road myself.

My brother was a butcher for the King Soopers at Cottonwood or something like that and we'd go down and see him from time to time.. when I lived way up in Westminster.

Well he lived out in Kiowa and he needed me to take him to the courthouse for a parking ticket or something... and while we were killing time, I drove us down this cul de sac type road and we were in my 65' Buick Special convertible... with the top down. As I'm going along, my brother's got his arm hangin' out the door and all of a sudden... WOOFWOOFWOOF!!!!!!!! This huge CUJO dog just about bit his hand off and I floored it! I turned around in the cul de sac and said, "Do you think we can get the top up in time? I had to drive back that way through the gauntlet! I just drove a little faster the second time.

Here are some more photos I recently took of central Elbert County. This shows a highly forested area along Ridge Rd between Byers and Kiowa, in the "Chaparral Valley" subdivision. There is still a lot of undeveloped land out there, unlike the western parts of the county. I recommend clicking the "Slideshow" button once you follow the link.
