Excuse me: BBA not BS in Acct
Ok I know it obviously seems like the latter choice is the better one, but is getting your MAcc worth it if you'll already have your masters? Is getting an MBA important at all if you'll already have your CPA or MAcc?
My issue is that I don't want to be labeled as "that accountant"; I want to be able to market myself further than that.
Am I thinking about this all wrong? Is there another route I should consider?
Btw: I plan on doing a 5th year in order to get my MAcc
It depends on whether your are completing a 150 credit hour bachelor's. I would probably do a BBA in Accounting and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting to get the rest of the accounting credits. Some MBA programs offer as many as 18 credits in an accounting concentration.
