What's going on? I smell astroturf, for one. Expect a coordinated rabblerousing effort at colleges and universities across the country.

And as for Tim Wolfe's kumbaya speech...conversation? There is no conversation on college campuses today, Tim, just demands. So continue to apologize for being white and having a penis .

Notice the preference of totalitarianism over free speech? Someone says something offensive and they need to be quieted or expelled from campus. Can't have any "offensive" speech now can we? If I don't agree with it it shouldn't be allowed!

Why have a first amendment to the U.S. Constitution?

and dialogue???? please....this is more like, do what we say or else.....

Radicalism is the fashion now.

Pretty sure that 'Jackie' from UVA did the poop swastika and did all the alleged yelling of ***GASP*** racial phrases. (if you catch my drift)

There have been 173 murders in St. Louis, MO this year. Not ONE of these players have said a dang thing. Nothing.
Then some unknown perpretrators allegedly say or do something that is ***gasp*** allegedly racist, and they protest until the President resigns? Wow.
Mission accomplished: showing what a bunch of kids that wouldn't have gotten in the school without lowering standards for Althletic Scholarships can accomplish if they put their feeble minds to it.

Well, St. Louis is 2 hours from Mizzou campus. A wee bit of an apples and oranges argument.

the student that started it all with a hunger strike. His father is is a Union Pacific executive and mother is a former educator who runs an advocacy program. The organization in which his father is an executive is the Union Pacific Railroad, one of the biggest companies in the country, where he earned over $6 million last year as executive vice president for marketing and sales. The networth of his family is over 20 million but this kid has the balls to make a President of the University resign because he is "too white" and has too much "white privilege"........please!!!

The interesting part of the 1950 groups manifesto is a demand of racial staff and faculty quotas.

The problem there is that blacks are 7% of students, 7% of staff and 3.5% of faculty.....but Asians are 15% of faculty.

But wait, the football team has hardly any Asians and has a huge % of blacks.

Their very manifesto is racist as it implies that the staffing is imbalanced due to racism (but the imbalance is due to high % of Asians) but the sports teams are imbalanced due to merit.

The very fact that the football players are supporting calls for racist faculty quotas and are inherently implying that Asians are "lesser" and got their roles not due to ability is pretty offensive.

Most people are unaware of the students demands past the removal of the leadership...but as you scroll down their list of demands there are some pretty sobering and racist items they are calling for.

So we're just going to discount all the racism he's experienced on campus because his Pops is in a certain tax bracket?
