Mom passed away and my sister and I are going through her stuff. We found six Pokémon boxes with the 23K gold plated cards all still with the plastic case and poke ball. Are these worth anything to collectors and if so roughly what price range?

I have not seen those cards in awhile. There should be six cards in the set: Charizard, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Pikachu, Poliwrath, and Togepi. A complete set should net $70.00 to $80.00.

The key is how you are going to sell them. I know almost nothing about Pokemon except that certain cards are desirable, just like any type of desirable card could be. And like any type of card condition, and being graded by an outside entity like CGC will drive the cards value even more.
I just checked Ebay, good luck on the $70-80.
