Go to Kansas City to 27th Blvd. Abandoned and run down area of town where you're almost guaranteed to get shot walking through there any time of the day. A buncb if semi condemned apartments, you'd be surprised anyone lives there. But they do. I think the reason less people get shot is due to tons of cops patrolling the area constantly

What City has the worst looking ghetto in the country?

Where is the worst looking poverty stricken place you have ever seen?
To me it would be Wilmington DE. I have never seen such an ugly place near downtown before. Not even Philly.

New York City South Bronx and Harlem in the 1970's 1980's is the worst looking and is the worst ghetto of all time hands down its not even close.

Present day Camden NJ is the worst looking ghetto infact alot of cities in Jersey look horrible Newark, Jersey City, Irvington, Patterson, East Orange, Trenton, etc. Jersey has alot of rundown ghetto areas. The funny thing is they ripped down the highrise buildings (project buildings) in Newark and Jersey City (most of them). They say they cleaned these areas up but anybody that passed threw these rundown areas knows they still are some of the worst looking areas in America.

That looks more like a city in some third world country. If this is a true picture of Detroit that I found then it puts East St. Louis to shame.
Looks like Brazil or Rio De Janeiro. Definitely not in the US yet.

That looks nothing like Rio, looks more like the Philippines.

St. Louis' ghetto can vary from very nice and well-kept (largely the case in the outer north side and parts of the south side) to absolutely horrendous. I posted an example of the former in the "nicest-looking ghettos" thread, now here's an example of the latter.
