My daughter will be taking a job at UCMC in July 2024. I know it's a long way off, but we're not familiar with the area and would like to get a headstart in finding an apartment. Her current apartment is around 1200 SF with 2 bedrooms/2 baths. The complex has an elevator and all the amenities for just under $1900/month (yes, it's a beautiful complex). Are there any similar complexes near UCMC or within a 20 minute drive? Considered northern KY but unsure of the commute/traffic. Safety is a major factor and nearness to grocery stores, restaurants/fast food places. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Corryville has some decent options for what you are seeking. There is a grocery store nearby, Kroger to be exact. Theres a lot to do in the area as well. Crime happens but the area isnt ghetto. You get a lot of students, medical professionals, etc all around the area. So Corryville, and Clifton proper (the area around Ludlow Ave) is another great if not better option. But overall the neighborhoods around the hospitals are decent enough and tend to have some decent housing options and amentities.

Have you contacted the HR department at UCMC? They generally can provide this type of information to new employees relocating into the area.

If she wants the option to walk to work do Corryville and the big landlord there is Uptown Rental Properties. www.uptownrents.com they cater to undergrads mostly. Nicest building in the area,

Also look at Mt. Adams. Off street parking is difficult sometimes.

If she wants to explore beyond the immediate campus neighborhoods, I recommend looking anywhere along the I-71 corridor between Hyde Park/Oakley and Blue Ash.
