This means that sadly we are not moving to Cincinnati, we are really sad and angry and also a bit shocked about how things went in the end, we were already ''mentally'' living there and suddendly everthing changed and all our planes are gone. I think we've never been this sad and melancholic as we are now, it's a difficult moment for us.
Anyway I want to thank everyone here who gave us informations, you were really nice and kind.
I hope to come back to Cincy one day... I already miss being there so much.

Sorry about how things turned out. As you could tell I was hoping to see you living here for awhile. I was sure you would like it. Oh well, as we say water over the dam. Return home, regroup your thoughts. And by all means get that sadness out of your minds, you have a long future ahead of you.

It's just so difficult because the States were a great opportunity for us in many ways, above all because there we could have finally had our own family, and in Italy instead we can't because living is so much more expensive (and taxes are really high) and no one supports you with anything.
Let's hope we can move away from here anyway by the beginning of next year, we have other options, not as good as the States but at least not as bad as staying in Italy.

I was going to ask whether the hubby in his disappointment is going to start considering other employment avenues?

He's going to speak with his boss about his future in the company, he also thought about the possibility of leaving his current company and try to find something else, but first we need to see how are the other options we have. If they are not good (meaning if we can't move away from Italy with a reasonable salary) for sure he will quit his current work and he will search in another company. Too bad (for us, not for you) people can't come to search work in the US, it would be so much better!
