I hope the Cincinnati Streetcar is such a roaring success that it silences the naysayers throughout the state of Ohio and Columbus gets one that travels from Worthington down High Street to German village. How cool would that be?

The 2007 streetcar plan in Columbus partially had that. It would've gone from German Village to OSU. If the economy had not crapped out then, it would probably be at least partially built by now. Not sure why the idea hasn't been revived yet, as it had majority resident support in polling, city and transit leadership, as well as local business support.

Wow I can't believe they would think of selling the railroad which brings in 30 million a year.

Selling railroad system could boost pension fund, but is it worth it? | Cincinnati.com | cincinnati.com
